Do you know if we can actually make your own backup power source or power bank of batteries that can be recharged. We just need some electronic components such as IC regulator, electrolytic capacitors and an LED as an indicator. The way it works is, we use a 9 volt battery while the gadget requires power at 5 volts. Here we use a 7805 voltage regulator IC that converts voltages above 6-18 volts to 5 volts.
